James, here is how to get into an ideal posture before every full swing shot. Place your hands on your thighs and start bending forward from your hip joints as you allow your knees to bend slightly. Once your fingertips reach the top of your knees then you have reached your ideal dynamic posture. Be weary of the 3rd picture where your knees have too much flex and your weight then moves too much onto your heels. The final frame is picture perfect posture with the weight in the balls of the feet.
After testing your body’s mechanics on how it wants to move your right arm and hand naturally in the back swing, we found out your right hand grip should be mostly on top of the grip and slightly on the side. Do not let the palm of your right hand drift too far under the grip. These are some swings after the grip and posture changes.
Another good look at your swing after the posture and grip changes. The right hand grip change has put you in a more powerful and controlled position at the top while allowing you to deliver that club to the ball properly. One thing I want you to notice is how much your hips slide back and through versus rotating in posture. This is a big reason why we see your arms shorten up through the impact instead of keeping that nice extension of the arms.
Here was a good exercise to help feel what rotating more in posture is like. This provides a good mental image as well as good kinesthetic feel. Just like starting a lawn mower you want your right shoulder and right hip to rotate behind you and then reverse it for the forward swing. The better you get a extending the right arm on top of the ball, the better impact you will have.
Here is a good view of you working on rotating more in posture while keeping your head more steady. Head movement is very important because the head is our counterbalance to our pivot. If the head moves around too much then the pivot will be compromised and you will not hit the same spot on the ground consistently.
