Lesson #2
January 20th 2020
Hip is sliding back to us not turning and opening.
Worked on getting the hip to rotate back into a “sitting” feel. Should allow arms to stay extended for longer and will allow you to get a bigger turn.
Much better hip action!
Can really see the ball position is back of center and the legs very wide compared to shoulders with a hip sliding action.
Ball position is better but still slightly back of center. Stance is much better with an overall better hip motion back and through.
Good drill and pre-shot routine move here that lets you prime your muscles to feel the correct position before the actual shot. This move will help you open your hips more in order to start the downswing correctly.
Sorry for the delay on this summary, transitioned to a new phone after I shot these pictures and they didn’t save in the teaching app that I use. Then I went to Florida for a week for my final level of PGA training. Good work and keep practicing!
